Manchester City drew in the Community Shield final against Arsenal FC in an important game in which the club did not have a good time, but Pep Guardiola's changes worked perfectly. Cole Palmer, came on for Erling Haaland and scored the goal that opened the scoring in the match held at Wembley.

The club's game was complicated to say the least. Mikel Arteta complicated Manchester City and had the great function of completely nullifying Erling Haaland. However, Pep Guardiola understood that the London team had played an Anti-Haaland match and therefore he decided to bet on Cole Palmer in the match and took the Norwegian out of the game.

However, while everything seemed to end with Manchester City as Community Shield champion, Arsenal FC managed to tie the game on the last play of the game after a goal from Leandro Trossard. The match will be defined through the penalty shootout.

Was Haaland angry at being substituted?

The Norwegian striker had to leave the game because he did not have many actions and so, Guardiola decided to hire Cole Palmer, a player who had a great preseason and is one of the young promises of the citizen team. The decision worked out for him, as Palmer scored the first goal of the match. However, everything will be defined in penalties.
