Manchester United are not having the best moment and it seems that the season may be irreparable if the results continue in this way. The team has flashes of great performances, like in November, where they won three games in a row, but they always end up returning to a sad reality and proof of this has been their season in the Champions League or the most recent defeat at the hands of Bournemouth. Now, the player who would have his hours at the club numbered is revealed.

The end is near for striker Anthony Martial (28 years, 13 games and 1 goal in the Premier League this season) at Manchester United! According to information from The Athletic this Monday, the Mancunian leaders will not activate the option present in the French international's contract, currently linked until next June, to automatically renew it for one more year.

Disappointed by the former Monegasque's performances this season, the Red Devils management has no intention of retaining him. Thus, with no interesting offers during the winter transfer market in January, Manchester United are preparing to let Martial go at the end of his lease without receiving any compensation.

Ten Hag's words after the defeat against Bournemouth

"I have to assume my responsibility. We are really inconsistent. I understand that the fans are disappointed, frustrated. We all are, but we must do better and we have to show it in each game, not have such great levels from one game to the next," confessed the Dutch coach. After the tough defeat against Borunemouth (0-3), Erik ten Hag has come to the fore to assume part of the blame.
