Manchester City will face Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final in the coming days and both clubs will be hoping for the best news of all at the end of 90 minutes. For Manchester City, their first European title. For Inter Milan, their fourth UEFA Champions League.

Before the match between the Italians and the English, coach Pep Guardiola had some important words for one of his players, who despite his great talent, has been relegated to the bench due to the high level of Erling Haaland. It is precisely Julian Alvarez, Manchester City's Argentine striker.

According to Guardiola, his first perception of Julian Alvarez was in a friendly match in the United States.  "I remember the game in the United States against America I think it was and Julian had only been in training for two games and I said 'This boy is special'," he said in dialogue with ESPN about that match played almost a year ago in which City won 2-1 and it was the first friendly match in which the Argentine was a starter. "He has had a fantastic season. He has renewed his contract, he will be here for a few years, I hope he is happy," said Pep.

Will Julian start the UEFA Champions League final?

The reality is that it is very complicated that the ex-River Plate will be the one to command the attack in the match in Istanbul against Inter Milan. However, it is very possible that he will have minutes, due to the fact that it is a match that is expected to have very few spaces in front of Inter's great defensive retreat. Therefore, the Argentine player could help to unblock the game.
