Liverpool FC seeks to once again be the protagonist in the current Premier League. The Anfield team wants to compete again this season, and will have to take advantage of their absence in the Champions League to focus their attention on the league title. A championship that has been dominated by Manchester City in the last three seasons.

For this, those of Anfield Road will seek to reinforce themselves in an important way in the transfer market. However, despite the promising start to the market with the arrival of Alexis Mac Allister, the reality is that Liverpool FC have failed to sign another big star who can really make a difference in a significant way.

This situation is obviously not alien to Jurgen Klopp, who spoke at a press conference prior to his team's debut in this new Premier League. Now, he confesses one of the great reasons why the English team has found this market more difficult, and has made more departures than reinforcements for the following season.

What does Klopp say about the transfer market?

The German coach is aware that many of his targets have ended up escaping the radar. "We really tried everything to put together the best squad. We're not in dreamland where you just point to a player and sign him," Klopp said, referring to today's competition and the great economic power of more clubs on the market.
