The future of Julian Alvarez has recently been linked with clubs such as Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. The Argentine striker has not had the expected amount of minutes at Manchester City, and yet, he has managed to finish with an important goalscoring quota. Now, the footballer finally decides where he will continue in the next season.
At the age of 23, striker Julian Alvarez has become the first Argentine player in history to win the Copa Libertadores, the World Cup and the Champions League, after winning the top European club competition with Manchester City. Now, after winning it all, the Argentine already knows what his priority is for next season.
According to CityXtra, it is highly unlikely that the Argentine striker will leave the club in the summer. In fact, Pep Guardiola is adamantly opposed to his departure as he considers him essential to the team, despite Erling Haaland being the first-choice striker. Even so, Julian has shown he doesn't need all the starts to be key to his team and shine in a big way.
Julian Alvarez's future seems to be clear, at least for the time being. According to information provided by journalist César Luis Merlo, the young Argentine striker has no plans to leave Manchester City, and the English club has no intentions of letting him go either.
