Liverpool FC are looking to sign a new defensive midfielder. The team has trusted Wataru Endo, who is responding in an important way, but the reality is that they do not want to depend solely on the Japanese and they do not want to continue with Mac Allister out of position. For this reason, the club identified Andre as one of the objectives of the winter market. However, it seems that an English club has taken advantage of Liverpool.

The transfer market is abuzz with reports linking Fluminense's skilful 22-year-old midfielder André Trindade with interest from Fulham. According to Football Transfers, the London team is intensifying its efforts to acquire the talented Brazilian, a tactical strategy considering the uncertainty surrounding Joao Palhinha's future.

André Trindade has experienced a notable rise, establishing himself as a fundamental piece in Fluminense's midfield and gaining international recognition. After an outstanding season in 2023 that included winning the Copa Libertadores and participating in 62 matches in all competitions, the midfielder has caught the attention of several elite clubs.

Liverpool FC wants Andre

Although interest from Barcelona was rumored, it seems that André's next stop will be in the Premier League. Both Fulham and Liverpool have expressed their desire to enlist his services, with the latter being a suitor since the summer transfer window. However, the negotiations were postponed so as not to interfere with Fluminense's participation in the Copa Libertadores.
