Liverpool FC wants to win the Premier League again and is having important performances that validate the club's possibilities. However, Jurgen Klopp understands that there is still work to do and strengthen the midfield, this so that players like Mac Allister have less defensive duties and can contribute to his stellar attack starring Darwin, Luis Diaz and the Egyptian Mohamed Salah. Given this, Liverpool continues to bid for a Ligue 1 player.

According to Mirror, Liverpool have shown interest in incorporating OGC Nice's French midfielder Khephren Thuram into their squad, being willing to spend a sum close to 45 million, attracting attention with his performance in the last 18 months, earning him the recognition of several prominent clubs in Europe, including Anfield

The player has demonstrated exceptional skills in midfield, which has fueled interest from high-profile clubs such as Liverpool. Despite this strong show of interest, it is still unclear whether Nice is willing to let Thuram go and whether it will accept Liverpool's offer, because there are clubs that are also interested in his profile for next year.

Klopp wants Thuram

Liverpool's desire to acquire Thuram underlines its intention to strengthen and improve its squad with young and promising talent, with the French player being the next move that the German coach wants to close to continue having a fully competitive squad with which to return to what highest in the Premier League and when competing in European competitions.
