According to Daily Mirror, Florentino Pérez, Real Madrid Executive, is analyzing Isco´s future. If the Spaniard does not get playing time in the next few matches under head coach Carlo Ancelotti, the malagueño would be leaving his last moments as a Real Madrid player. For Real Madrid executives, the best solution is to sell the player in order to make a profit.

Isco has been out of his top-level the last few seasons, the reason why since Zinedine Zidane the player has not been part of the starting lineup. Under Ancelotti, the former Málaga player had an opportunity to prove his worth to earn a spot in the starting lineup but players like Kroos, Casemiro or Modric, won the place.

Real Madrid must hurry to sell the player

Isco´s contract expires in June and neither the player nor Real Madrid seems to want a contract renewal. The Spanish club have three options, let the player leave for free in the summer transfer window for next season, renew the contracts player for one more year, or sell the player in this winter transfer window

The last-mentioned option seems to be the most likely to occur. According to Daily Mirror, Florentino Pérez wants to offer Isco to Tottenham Hotspur if the malagueño situation does not improve.

Isco has had no playing time

Isco was deployed from the bench in Madrid's 1-0 defeat to Getafe on Sunday, the midfielder came on to replace Kroos. He had not had minutes since more than a month and a half ago, on November 21, 2021, when he played the last 11 minutes of the match against Granada with the game already settled (1-4).

This season he has only accrued 182 minutes in La Liga and has not made his debut in the Champions League. Only Mariano, Vallejo, Lunin, and Ceballos, who have not made their debuts, have played less than him.

Isco isn't in Ancelotti's plans

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly made a final decision on Isco as Tottenham prepare to be handed a £5million January transfer opportunity. An attacking midfielder of the Spaniard's quality could be exactly what boss Antonio Conte requires if Dele Alli seals his exit from north London as many have predicted.

Such is the scale of the 29-year-old's struggle for minutes, even that made headlines as Ancelotti continues to overlook the former Malaga man in favor of other options.

Another Premier League suitor for the midfielder is Newcastle. However, since it was acquired by new Arab ownership, there have been countless players who have been mentioned as possible recruits, and the more targets, the less likely they are all to be signed. That includes the former Malaga player.

Real Madrid view the sale of the player positively, as, should Isco and his agent decide to offer himself to Spurs, they will give Los Blancos the chance to sell him and save the remainder of his salary at the club instead of having to wait for his contract to expire.
