Kyle Walker's future at Manchester City is uncertain. The defender is one of the longest-serving players in the team and has won many titles as part of the most successful period in the club's history. Now, the player, who is on vacation, receives unexpected news from his team.

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City is looking for important reinforcements for next season. The Spanish coach is aware that after the departure of Gundogan, the imminent departure of Laporte and presumably Bernardo Silva, the team will have to incorporate new elements. In view of this, new defenders are also being considered. Walker has already received the worst news of all regarding his future in the team.

Pep Guardiola has opted for John Stones, Ruben Dias, Manuel Akanji and Nathan Ake as his starting line-up. As such, Walker, despite getting significant minutes, has been relegated to the sidelines. Now, it looks like a new player will be joining to boost the team ahead of next season and this would be a low blow for the England full-back.

Which player is close to joining Manchester City?

According to SZ Sport, Josko Gvardiol is pushing hard for RB Leipzig to become a new Manchester City player. The defender is one of Pep Guardiola's big targets for the next season and therefore, he hopes to make an important move to the team and wants everything to be finalized in the next few days.
