Liverpool FC is striving to strengthen its squad for the next transfer window and with that, the club is starting to talk with important players. After closing the deal for Alexis Mac Allister, the club contacted one of the most outstanding players of the last World Cup and, surprisingly, he turned them down.

It is precisely the French striker Marcus Thuram. The striker has established himself in German soccer after an outstanding spell with Borussia Monchengladbach. However, the player believes it is time for a change of scenery, but gives the worst news of all to Liverpool FC, a club that was genuinely interested in his services.

The future of Marcus Thuram continues to be a bone of contention between Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and AC Milan. The French striker was released after the end of his contract with Borussia Monchengladbach, but has not yet made a final decision on his next destination. According to Sky, the player is not considering a move to the Premier League at the moment.

What will happen to Marcus Thuram in the future?

In addition to his soccer quality, the fact that he is a young and free striker in an inflated market has aroused the interest of several important clubs throughout Europe. As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan are gaining ground in the race to sign Thuram.
