The arrival of Lionel Messi to Inter Miami has been one of the most shocking news prior to the start of the summer. The Argentine player has established himself in a big way and arrives to the MLS in search of an important adventure where he will have multiple luxuries and an important salary. Now, however, the first player to pack his bags and leave David Beckham's club in a surprise move to the Premier League is revealed.

In an unexpected, but actually positive move for David Beckham, his son will not be playing with Lionel Messi in the Premier League. Romeo Beckham signed a new contract with Premier League side Brendtford and will continue another season in England, instead of returning to Miami and playing for his father's team, who own the player's pass.

The 20-year-old played for the B team last season while on loan from Inter Miami, the Major League Soccer club his father co-owns, appearing in 15 games and scoring once.  Speaking to the club, Beckham said of the new contract, "Best feeling, very excited, ready to get started and have a good next season."

Will Romeo Beckham ever return to Miami?

The reality is that it is possible that the son of the Manchester United legend will eventually return to MLS. However, the idea is that the player will stay in the Premier League and succeed as expected. Therefore, it is almost impossible to expect to see Lionel Messi and Romeo Beckham on the pitch together. However, it is not something that should be ruled out either.
