Manchester City are not having the most hopeful transfer market of all. The English team comes from winning the UEFA Champions League, but has suffered the departure of a vital player such as Iikay Gundogan. In addition, players like Kyle Walker or Bernardo Silva remain unclear about his future and now, a player refuses to return to the citizen club and would be a new Liverpool FC player.

Roméo Lavia is Liverpool's next target in the transfer market with a view to reinforcing its squad for next season, with the Belgian player from Southampton, just 19 years old, being chosen to finish rebuilding the core of the team led by Jurgen Klopp.

However, Liverpool is not the only club that would seek the signing of Lavia, since Manchester City, the club that transferred the midfielder to Southampton a year ago, would also be on the lookout for the young footballer, so that Liverpool wants to hurry as much as possible to be able to finalize his arrival, and everything indicates that it will be so.

Will Lavia play for Liverpool FC?

According to information from Fabrizio Romano, the footballer believes that it is time to reach an important agreement with the team and his chances of reaching it increase. There are already concrete talks between both parties and Lavia would be close to being a new Liverpool FC player, thus rejecting the option of Manchester City, the club where he played in the lower ranks.
