Liverpool FC suffered a significant talent drain last summer where some of its players made the decision to go to Saudi Arabia, such as Henderson, Fabinho and Roberto Firmino. However, it is now revealed that one of them is close to leaving his current club for certain reasons that surprise more than one. This is a footballer who came to be one of the stars of this competition.

Brazilian attacker Roberto Firmino, who signed until 2026 with Al-Ahli of Saudi Arabia, could leave the Saudi club in the winter market. According to the latest information, those responsible for the institution are considering the arrival of other players to boost the attack and this could only happen if the Brazilian finally leaves.

Firmino, 32, has played 10 games in the Saudi Professional League this season, in which he has scored three goals. The former Liverpool player has not had the expected impact on his new club, and his performance has been very irregular. As 'TeamTalk' reports, Firmino's possible departure from Al-Ahli would be a surprise, since the Saudi club bet heavily on him by offering him one of the biggest salaries in the competition.

The club could sell him in January

Those responsible for the institution seem to be dissatisfied with his performance, and could be willing to sell him in the winter market to make way for other players. If Firmino finally leaves Al-Ahli, he could return to Europe. The Brazilian continues to be a quality player, and could fit into several teams in the Premier League or Serie A. The footballer seems to still consider himself optimal to return to Europe and rediscover the best version of himself on the pitch.
