Liverpool FC has been one of the best signings in the current transfer window. However, the club now seems to suffer unexpectedly from the departure of two important players such as Fabinho and Jordan Henderson for next season. Given this, the club is looking to take advantage of a market opportunity for a player who does not count for Pep Guardiola.

It has been claimed from England that Liverpool are now ready to pay £35 million to try to sign Man City star Kalvin Phillips. At Leeds, Phillips established himself as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League, and that led Man City boss Pep Guardiola to bring him to the Etihad.

However, the move hasn't quite worked out and he has struggled to make an impact, with a series of injuries keeping him on the sidelines more often than he would have hoped.
That has led to surprising media reports that West Ham are looking for a surprise deal for the midfielder, especially as they are looking for a replacement for the much talked about Declan Rice. However, Liverpool are bidding hard for the player.

How much would Liverpool FC pay for the player?

The English team is willing to put on the table, an amount close to 35 million euros, according to Daily Star. Given the limited possibilities at Manchester City, the player is looking forward to a move to Liverpool FC this summer, understanding that he would have a leading role after the departure of his two defensive midfielders to Saudi Arabia.
