Kyle Walker's future is very close to Munich. The English full-back is of interest to the German team and talks have intensified in recent days. The player has settled in a major way and will accept the best condition for his career. According to BILD, Bayern Munich would offer him a significant salary increase for next season.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the treble winners have closed the net on Benjamin Pavard as their new right-back. The French defender is their primary target if Walker moves to the Allianz Arena in the summer. They already held talks with the player but did not start negotiations with Bayern.
Walker is believed to have already reached a verbal agreement with the Bundesliga club and is ready to sign for Bayern. Bayern are understood to be ready to pay £15m ($19m/€17.5m) for the 33-year-old's services while asking for £27m ($33m/€31.55m) for Pavard.
Meanwhile, Joao Cancelo has returned to the Etihad after a mediocre season with Bayern. Still, the Portuguese defender remains out of favor at City and Mikel Arteta's Arsenal could keep an eye on the player, whose versatility would be a big plus for the Gunners. Pep Guardiola also has Rico Lewis at his disposal
