Manchester City is starting to set in motion its exit operation for the next transfer window. Although the club has had a great season, they understand that it is time to further strengthen the squad and dispense with some players so that this can happen.

The departures in the English team could be finalized as soon as the current season ends, that is, the following week. Many players have their contracts expiring and have not yet coordinated their contract renewals. However, one player is already known to be leaving the institution in a surprising way.

Pep Guardiola has been clear about his intentions regarding what he is looking for in the squad for next season and a large part of that is to continue competing in Europe. However, this player has already given him the news that he will not continue and surprises the Spanish coach in view of what is coming. This is a player who has been with the club for some years.

Manchester City is about to face Inter Milan in their second UEFA Champions League final where they hope to win the coveted title, which would be the first in their history. To do so, they will depend on their main pieces if they want to achieve it. One player would make his last appearance for the club.

Which player would leave Manchester City?

It is precisely Zack Steffen, the club's second-choice goalkeeper and a member of the U.S. national soccer team. The goalkeeper will not remain at the club as he does not fit in the team's plans, after his loan at Middlesbrough, he will have to look for a new adventure at another club or perhaps outside the Premier League.
