Manchester United faces a tough task in the FA Cup final. The club hopes to achieve its goal and win the final against their fierce city rivals. In this game, it is all about the confrontation of two great coaches like Pep Guardiola and Erik Ten Hag. However, just a few days before the game, two players have received unexpected news about their futures.

Erik Ten Hag has been extremely clear about what he expects from the team next season. Manchester United have achieved the big goal of the season of returning to the UEFA Champions League and are also in the FA Cup final.

The team is confident that they can finish this season with two championships, but beyond that, they also know that they have no time to lose regarding the future of certain elements in the team. Such is the case of two players who are on loan within the team and that Manchester United has no intention of executing their purchase clause.

Which players would not continue at Manchester United?

The players on loan are Wought Weghorst and Austrian Marcel Sabitzer. Both players arrived with the intention of complementing the team and giving more variants to Erik Ten Hag's scheme. However, despite having some outstanding matches, their performance has not been the best of all and the board believes it can better invest its budget in other types of profiles. Thus, according to Sky Sports, they would be the first to step aside in the Red Devil project for the rest of 2023.
