Manchester City and Inter Milan will face each other on June 10 in the UEFA Champions League final. Both teams are in great shape for this match and it is expected to be a very even duel between both sides. However, prior to the match, in a surprising way, an Inter Milan player spoke about playing for Manchester City.

Inter Milan are coming off the back of a great season where they finished as Coppa Italia champions and in the Top 3 of Serie A. The Italian team arrives as the dark horse of the competition, and could end up making the surprise by having important and quality players to compete against Manchester City in this match.

However, while the Nerazurri team is preparing for this match, a player unexpectedly offers himself "indirectly" to Manchester City. Alessandro Bastoni, star defender of Simone Inzaghi's team, was interviewed during the Media Day prior to the UEFA Champions League final.

What did Bastoni have to say ahead of the UEFA Champions League final?

The player gave interesting insights ahead of the match and in one of the questions asked, the player spoke about a possible role in a team coached by Pep Guardiola. "I think my qualities suit what Guardiola is looking for in his teams. However, at the moment I'm doing very well at Inter Milan," assured Alessandro Bastoni. The player expects to start the UEFA Champions League title game in Istanbul.
