Cristiano Ronaldo receives unexpected news from Al Nassr. The Saudi team today was notified of a peculiar situation with FIFA and will be suspended for the following transfer windows, something that will not allow the club to buy players for the following years. Something that Cristiano Ronaldo does not like and is already looking for a solution.

It is about the deal for Nigerian striker Ahmed Musa that was closed in 2018 and for which Al-Nassr had to pay the Foxes just over 15 million euros. An official FIFA ruling states that the Saudi side failed to pay 460,000 plus interest in performance-related add-ons.

The ruling was originally issued in October 2021, and Al-Nassr were warned that a transfer ban would be imposed on them if they failed to pay Leicester the outstanding amount. It is now believed that they did not comply with the ruling and the ban was imposed. That applies to both domestic and international transfers, meaning they are currently unable to register stars from abroad.

Will Cristiano Ronaldo go to the Premier League with Man Utd?

The reality is that Cristiano Ronaldo's future at this point in his career appears to be in Saudi Arabia. The player has managed to finish his first season in the Saudi Pro League in great fashion and now, regardless of whether reinforcements arrive or not, he wants to finish establishing himself in a big way.
