Chelsea is going through one of the grayest moments in its recent history. The team seems to have a new season with irregular results, this after being out of the top6 last season and having spent millions on players like Romeo Lavia or Moises Caicedo to improve this year. Now, the Liverpool FC coach is already talking about it, since they were two players that Liverpool were interested in last summer.

Jurgen Klopp left a direct message to Chelsea and several of his signings at an event held at Anfield in which a new stand was inaugurated that will debut against United. To questions from fans about the transfer policy, he said: “Some strange things happened in the transfer market in the summer, but here, between us, I can say: “My God, we were lucky, huh?”

“We didn't know it at the time and it didn't feel that way at the time, but yeah, I'm very happy that it worked out, but you never know beforehand. Obviously we realized that other defensive midfielders didn't want to join Liverpool (referring to Lavia and Caicedo), you see what happens, and then we found Wataru Endo. “He is an exceptional player,” he added.

Liverpool FC's new midfield shines in a big way

Endo, MacAllister and Szoboszlai have completely turned around Liverpool's midfield following the departure of Henderson and long-term injuries to Bajcetic and Thiago. The reinforcements are working well and contrast with the performance of Lavia and Caicedo, who were in the club's orbit until they decided to go to Chelsea.
