Liverpool FC is looking for a striker in the current transfer market, but after the complications they had with Kylian Mbappe, the English team decided to trust in another talent for next season and now, to the great news of many, the team has even given him the number 9 as a vote of confidence. Klopp is smiling at having his attacking benchmark.

Last Saturday, Darwin Núñez joined the preseason of the English Liverpool, who will seek to improve their performance after finishing in 5th position in the last Premier League and being left out of the next edition of the Champions League, so this season they will have to be satisfied with just playing in the Europa League.

The team led by the German Jürgen Klopp is going through a process of important player replacement, since some of its stalwarts have left for this new season. One of them was Brazilian striker Roberto Firmino, who will play for Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia, a league that is taking away great soccer stars.

Is Darwin Nunez Liverpool's new starting nine?

Bobby, as he was nicknamed by the Reds fans, left vacant the number 9 shirt, which already has a new owner. It is the Uruguayan Nunez, who will leave aside the 27 that he used during his first season in England and will return to wear the 9, which he wore in the youth national teams of Uruguay and Benfica of Portugal.
