Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana will be a new Manchester United player and is expected to arrive at the club in the next few hours and sign once and for all. After goalkeeper David De Gea finally did not continue in the team, the Cameroonian was the great chosen and primary target of Erik Ten Hag for this new season. However, now it comes as a surprise the player who would leave after Onana's arrival.

Andre Onana is set to sign for Manchester United for a reported fee of €55 million, after joining Inter Milan last summer as a free agent and competing with the Italian club in the Champions League final lost to Manchester City.

The former Ajax man will be reunited with Erik Ten Hag, with whom he had played five seasons. "I'm really looking forward to starting this new and exciting adventure with a coach who, in my eyes, is a master," he said for Gazzetta dello Sport. In 2019, the Dutch coach led Ajax to the Champions League semifinals.

Which player would leave after Onana's arrival?

It is precisely goalkeeper Matej Kovar, an important talent at the club, but who Ten Hag believes is not yet ready. According to United Stands, the player will join Sparta Prague on a season-long loan. At the moment the club does not want to sell him outright, but they also do not refuse to include an option to buy. All this, in order to give a more than free way to the new goalkeeper of the club.
