Liverpool FC looks like it will have to deal with the departure of one of its great references in the team. The Saudi Arabian offer for Jordan Henderson is unanswerable and the player would have no choice but to leave Anfield, and is expected to make a decision in the coming days.

According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Steven Gerrard's Al Ettifaq is offering to quadruple the English player's salary in order for him to leave Europe next season. Faced with this situation, the player seems to have no choice but to look after the future of his family and accept the millionaire offer from the Arab team and everything indicates that he will play in the Saudi Pro-League in the next market.

Liverpool have already signed two midfielders this summer and are targeting a third, meaning the 33-year-old's playing time will be significantly reduced next season. This could have a big impact on the England international's future should an offer come in from Ettifaq, as Gerrard looks to bring his former teammate with him on this new journey.

How much does Henderson earn at Liverpool?

After more than a decade with the Anfield outfit, the player has commanded a hefty salary of 7 million euros a year. However, in Saudi Arabia, he is being offered 35 million to take him once and for all, and to be the welcome gift for Steven Gerrard in the team for the next season. It will be very difficult for the Englishman not to accept, according to The Athletic
