Why was Chelsea vs Arsenal postponed?

Mikel Arteta's team faced a strong defense orchestrated by Thomas Frank, so their task of scoring against David Raya became arduous, so the game's goals began to fall until the second half.

With goals from Smith Rowe and Saka, Arsenal beat Brentford

Bukayo Saka was definitely the man of the match as he was responsible for generating most of the Gunners' attacks on goal.

In fact, Arsenal kept Frank's side under siege as there were 9 corners for Mikel Arteta's side in the first half alone, and such insistence could not go unrewarded.

But in the 47th minute of the second half, Emile Smith Rowe broke free and came down the left flank to get in front of Raya's goal, and fired a powerful cross-shot into the net at the far post to make the score 1-0.

The second goal of the game would not come until the 78th minute when Saka, who has been responsible for almost all of Arsenal's attacks on Brentford's goal, came in from the left side and with a cross-shot to the far post, very similar to Smith Rowe's, made the score 2-0.

But in the second half of the game, Brentford would no longer be so plagued by Arsenal and even managed to reach Aaron Ramsdale's goal with some attacks, but the defense was well organized and these attacks did not bother the goalkeeper until the 92nd minute of the game.

At that moment, Christian Thers Norgaard scored after receiving a pass from Kristoffer Ajer looking to close the gap but it was too late and the Gunners took the victory of the match.

Arsenal now has 42 points and remains sixth in the overall Premier League table, but still have a challenge ahead of them.

Arsenal's challenge: to reach UEFA Champions League places

While the result for the Gunners was positive, they still face the challenge of reaching the UEFA Champions League places, and to do so, they will have to step up a gear.

Arsenal is currently sixth in the table, but with one point and two games in hand on Manchester United, who occupy last place in the Champions League zone.

With time running out, can Arsenal reach the Champions League?
