Chelsea before the start of the season were one of the big favorites to win the Premier League title. Mauricio Pochettino's side have struggled despite the high quality of the squad they have. One of the big questions from Chelsea fans is why the team can't find itself despite having the quality of players it has.

It should be noted that the Stamford Bridge team would have spent a little more than $350 million during this last season, being probably the Premier League team that spent the most during the transfer season. In the face of this, the criticism of the team has not ceased and especially the criticism of Mauricio Pochettino who does not seem to have the situation under control.

Similarly, the blame has fallen on other characters such as Todd Boehly. Since the American's arrival at Chelsea, the West London outfit have shelled out approximately $1B on pure signings. Despite the large millions that have been paid, the sporting results have not been given and this is a cause for concern for many people, including players.

In the face of this, the Blues suffered yet another defeat this weekend, this time at the hands of an opponent that seemed not to be so complicated. Nevertheless, Brentford showed that they can beat anyone. The team even came close to beating United had it not been for Scott McTominay's last-minute brace. Due to the constant criticism, Pochettino has decided to speak out.

Pochettino's words

Despite not having good results, the Argentinian coach justified himself by saying that this is all about a process and that to create something you have to work hard. These were the words of Mauricio Pochettino.
