Manchester City has just won the UEFA Champions League for the first time in its history. Pep Guardiola's team is establishing itself in an important way and now, they are looking to continue reigning in England and in Europe, but they receive unexpected news regarding the future of a player who, unexpectedly, could leave the club.

It is no secret that many Manchester City players believe that their time at the club has come to an end. In that sense, some are already starting to look for options for next season and among them, there is a player who is certainly close to leaving the team to a major European club that is willing to put a significant amount for his signature.

Kyle Walker, one of the key pieces in Manchester City's scheme, could leave the 'Sky Blue' this summer. According to The Athletic, the defender could sign for Bayern Munich, despite the fact that he has one year left on his contract with the Premier League side. The German club wants to strengthen its right side, considering that Benjamin Pavard is close to leaving the club.

Will Kyle Walker leave for Manchester City?

Walker would reinforce the 'Bavarians' right wingback as Joao Cancelo's loan ends and Benjamin Pavard is in talks with Liverpool and does not plan to renew his contract with the Bundesliga champions. According to Transfermarkt, the 33-year-old right-back has a price tag of 15 million euros. Something that may be reduced due to the fact that the player is close to finishing his contract with the English club in the summer of 2024.
