Erik Ten Hag and Manchester United want to right the course of the current season. After the arrival of the new board led by Ratcliffe, the team could have some changes. However, the most important thing is the reinforcements for the offensive part. Given this situation, the club is already analyzing the arrival of a player.

The summer transfer window could bring a new face to Manchester United as the club show strong interest in signing talented Crystal Palace attacker Michael Olise. The 22-year-old has made a significant mark since his return to action, scoring five goals and providing one assist in his last nine Premier League appearances.

Despite a late start to the 2023-24 season due to a hamstring injury, Olise has proven to be a key force on the frontcourt for the Eagles. Last season, the France under-21 international contributed two goals and 11 assists in 40 appearances, all in the Premier League.

Olise, Manchester United's new wish

Although Olise renewed his contract with Crystal Palace until June 2027, a release clause in his deal opens up the possibility of a move this summer. According to the London Evening Standard, Manchester United are considering Olise as one of the first signings under the era of new minority shareholder Jim Ratcliffe. Although a mid-season move seems unlikely, the young attacker is on the list of key targets for the 2024-25 campaign.
