Manchester United does not seem to finish giving unexpected news to Garnacho after they presented Mason Mount with the number 7, a number that for many was of the Argentine player, who grew up in the English team. Now, however, the player has been dealt a new blow.

In the middle of negotiations with André Onana for the Red Devils goal, the British team confirmed that it will not renew David De Gea's contract. This affected Alejandro, who saw the Spanish goalkeeper practically as a father within the squad, since he was one of those who helped him the most when he was promoted to the first team.

Garnacho himself commented on the matter on social networks. "Friend and brother, I'm going to miss you a lot. You deserve all the best," wrote the footballer in an Instagram story next to De Gea, accompanied by emojis of sad faces and broken hearts. It is worth remembering that both had a past at Atlético de Madrid.

What will happen with Garnacho for next season?

Manchester United's Argentine attacker is fully contemplated in Erik Ten Hag's plans for next season. The Dutch coach has already made it clear that he trusts the player and will not listen to any kind of offer as he considers him a fundamental piece for the future of the English club. For the moment, it remains to be seen what the current transfer market has in store for the team.
