Mohamed Salah is a footballer who could be leaving Liverpool FC in the summer of 2024. The Egyptian striker is being tempted by Arab football with million-dollar offers, but with a distinction that not everyone could enjoy: being the new face of said competition. The Liverpool FC attacker and one of the club's historic scorers could accept this offer, taking into account that his contract ends in 2025 and for Liverpool, it is not entirely profitable for him to leave for free.

He wants him off his team. Mark Lawrenson, historic former Liverpool footballer, asks his team to leave Mohamed Salah at the end of the season. According to the Englishman, the Reds need the money more than the Egyptian.

Mo Salah has been a figure for the team since his arrival at Liverpool, scoring 198 goals in 323 games. This season he has played in 13 games scoring 10 goals and giving 5 assists in the Premier League. Despite these numbers, Lawrenson believes he should leave. “They should let him go and take the money. It can be understood that he goes to Saudi Arabia because of his nationality. I'm sure the club will be happy to say 'thank you for your service, we'll get £100m and you'll make a lot of money; good luck,'” the former footballer born in England mentioned for Paddy Power.

They believe that Salah has already spoken with Klopp about it

Likewise, the five-time Premier League champion trusts that Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp would have already had a conversation with the Egyptian about his departure, despite the fact that he still has a contract until the summer of 2025. “I wouldn't be surprised if the coach and "If the player had already had a conversation about it, Jürgen Klopp would ask him to give everything until the end of the season and then he would be able to leave," he noted.
