Manchester United is having a certainly forgettable transfer window. Erik Ten Hag's team fails to close the objectives that had been priced and now, after the refusal of Kylian Mbappe, they have already made the decision to sign one of the best strikers in Europe today. It is precisely Napoli's Victor Osimhen, who could leave for a price close to 100 million euros.

Reports from Italy claim that Man United will be in the market for a new striker in the summer transfer window, with Osimhen as their main target, and could make an offer of over 130 million. With two years remaining on his existing contract, that could force Napoli's hand, although his current price tag is around 130 million. However, there is a major constraint at Manchester United at the moment.

Erik Ten Hag's team has as an absolute priority to sign a striker in the next season and therefore, the profile of the Nigerian player lies as a unique opportunity. However, the Manchester United board has unexpected news for the English club ahead of next season.

What is happening with Manchester United in the transfer market?

According to the Daily Mail, the Red Devil board has already informed the Dutch coach that for the moment, there is a small financial situation that they have to resolve. In that sense, they delegate that no more than 150 million euros will be invested in the current transfer market. The only way to increase the budget would be by selling other players. Therefore, the arrival of Osimhen is more complicated than ever.
