Manchester City has established itself in great shape ahead of the UEFA Champions League final and, on paper, is the current favorite to win the competition against Inter Milan. However, the club wants to leave no doubt, and to that end, it has made a master plan to virtually secure the competition.

The English team is close to winning its first UEFA Champions League and, with it, to finish conquering the first treble in the club's history and second in England. Pep Guardiola's team is the club in the best form at the moment, however, they have not managed to win this competition, which they have yet to win.

In 2021, the citizen club was close to conquer the European glory, but they came close to Chelsea FC, after they finished snatching the trophy from them. However, the club did not give up, and two years later, they are again in a UEFA Champions League final, and now they are about to conquer it.

In the last editions of the UEFA Champions League, there has been a strange coincidence. In every champion team, there has been the presence of at least one Croatian player in the squad. A requirement that Manchester City does not meet, and that Inter Milan, thanks to Brozovic, does. However, the team has already made a smart move to try to cancel this cabal.

What did Manchester City do to win the Champions League final?

The club did not take long to move in the transfer market and finalized the arrival of Mateo Kovacoc, a Croatian player from Chelsea FC. The midfielder will join the club next season, but was signed just hours before the big game in Istanbul between Manchester City and Inter Milan.
