The growth of the MLS, the great purchasing power of the clubs, the global expansion and the great organization at the league level, make the Mexican League worried about its future. Today players choose MLS rather than going to Mexico. Today young players and veterans prefer to go to MLS instead of staying to fight for a place on their Mexican teams.

More and more Mexican players choose to continue their career in the MLS to be able in the future to make the leap and play in Europe. The growth of the MLS means that it is seen as a league where you can progress and many prefer it to the Liga Mx. Mexican players are one of the best paid in the MLS

Many Mexican players decide to end their careers in Mexico where they become idols of their new clubs and a great return on the economic side. Carlos Vela has been at Los Angeles FC for years and there they enjoy their level to the fullest. Currently Chicharito Hernandez playing for LA Galaxy is another example of how they choose the MLS before the Mexican League to end their career.

In addition to the big stars, more and younger Mexicans are migrating to an MLS team to be seen by clubs in Europe. Alan Pulido, currently cited by Gerardo Martino, managed to find his place in MLS to regain his level and be called up to the national team again.
