In his thirteen game at Inter Miami, Matías Pellegrini finally managed to convert his first goal at the club. It was a year in which he suffered being a substitute in the majority of the games, but at the end he could take benefit from the actual situation of the club and celebrate his first time with the net.

The Argentinian goal was key for his team to start the comeback against New York RB, which finally Gonzalo Higuaín ended with a memorable free kick golazo. The victory ends a three game streak loosing for Inter Miami and gives the attacking midfielder aged 20 some confident for the future.

Pellegrini will be an important player for coach Diego Alonso in the end of the regular season, as Rodolfo Pizarro is with Mexico national team on this October international window. He had his first start in a long time on Week 16 and for sure he will be playing next matches, at least until Pizarro is back.

Formed in Estudiantes de La Plata, he arrived to the MLS for more than $9 million with a talent that still awaits to exploit. A good finish and a talented treatment of the ball is guaranteed when he is on the field and, as he said after the game, it's important after a year in which he had to adapt to a new lifestyle.
