Mateo Bajamich is 21 years old and they play for Instituo (former club of Juventus player Dybala), currently in the second division of Argentina. After several days of negotiation, the Houston Dynamo decided to improve the offer for the Argentine forward and thus finalize his transfer.

The Argentine striker with a great season at Instituo scored 10 goals in 29 games, being the best player of his team. At Instituto they compare him with the Jueventus player Dybala, who used to play at the same club. His speed to control the ball and his great definition are some qualities that make him be compared to Dybala.

The Houston Dynamo doesn't expect him to become the franchise player quickly, but they do believe he could be very important in the future. They trust that the player will increase his level quickly and help the team to fight for the MLS championship. For the moment, Bajamich would perfectly fill the role that Alberth Elis had on the team.

Alberth Elis was sold to Boavista of Portugal after more than 3 seasons representing the Houston Dynamo. Fans will miss the forward who scored 34 goals and provided 27 assists in 88 games. The task of matching Elis by Bajamich will not be easy but everyone is confident that he will do it perfectly.
