This season was rare for two of the best players in the history of Mexico, but still they managed to be nominated for two important awards. The present of Carlos Vela and Javier Hernandez is very different and this is also reflected in the awards. While LAFC is thinking about the MLS playoffs, Chicharito Hernandez's team is already thinking about next season.

The MLS is looking for who is the best player in the history of the league and within that list there are several Mexicans. Giovani Dos Santos, Cuauthemoc Blanco, Carlos Vela and Jorge Campos are the four Mexicans nominated on the 25-player list to win the award for best player in MLS history.

Against face, Javier Hernandez is nominated and fighting for the award to Rafael Marquez as the worst purchase in the history of MLS. LA Galaxy paid about $ 10 million to Sevilla for the player and he still hasn't performed as he should. Rafael Marquez came to the New York Red Bulls from FC Barcelona in exchange for $ 9 million and his time in MLS was a total failure.

In this way and with two very different realities, both Carlos Vela and Javier Herandez could win a new personal title. The problem is that Vela can say that he is among the best in the history of MLS but Chicharito will try to hide that title that he is winning for now. Chicharito must do everything to ensure that this title remains in the hands of Rafa Marquez.
