LAFC completed a good regular season and qualified, for the first time in a row in their first three times, to the playoffs. The team coached by Bob Bradley gained 32 points on 22 matches played and finished seventh on the Western Conference. Seattle Sounders will be their hard rival on the first round of the MLS Cup Playoffs.

Carlos Vela will have to be LAFC greatest figure is his team wants to win, as there are some sensitive absences for the next game. The MLS top-scorer Diego Rossi, Diego Palacios and José Cifuentes have been infected with COVID-19 during their travel to play the World Cup Qualifiers and won’t be available for the game.

Vela is seriously committed to get far away in the competition this time and wining the title. The Mexican idol has told his relatives how important this playoff will be for him, as he wants to show everyone the good moment he is going. Winning the title would definitively consecrate him as a player.

During the regular season, Vela lost almost every game as he was injured. But when he came back, he showed his capacity and his talent. It is reported that this could be one of the last seasons of him as a professional soccer player, as he is already 31 years old, and he knows that this chance he will have now won’t be repeating anytime soon.
