Weston McKennie is enjoying being part of an exciting new generation of American talents. After going through the FC Dallas academy, then joining FC Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga and recently signing a contract with Juventus, one of the most important teams in the world, McKennie is now focused on his role as leader in the national team.

In recent statements, he said that sharing the national team with the next generations is exciting. The US team alongside McKennie include promises such as Chelsea's Christian Pulisic, Borussia Dortmund's Giovanni Reyna, Red Bull Salzburg's Tyler Adams, and Barcelona's Sergiño Dest and Konrad de la Fuente.

McKennie is fortunate to arrive at a club where the coach was one of the best players ever in his position, because McKennie plays in exactly the place as Andrea Pirlo did. The former Schalke is trying to obtain as much knowledge as he possibly can from that the former Italian and world soccer star.
