After the Week 17 of the Major League Soccer, Danny Musovski was chosen as the Most Valuable Player of the week. The Los Angeles Football Club striker scored two goals and provided an assist in the 3-1 victory over Seattle Sounders, which was, before this game, the solely leader of the Eastern Conference, with 30 points.

The first goal of the match came after 15 minutes, when Musovski headed an Eduard Atuesta free kick to give LAFC a 1-0 lead. Then, Francisco Ginella added the second goal, thanks to a Musovski assist. Seattle midfielder Nicolás Lodeiro scored a free kick in the 77th minute. Finally, Musovski, 24, added his second goal of the match in the 84th minute. 

The MVP of the week in MLS is chosen each week by a vote of the media and soccer fans. Journalists from Noth American Soccer Reporters (NASR), which is made up of members of the print, television, radio and web media, account for 75% of the votes, while Twitter users account for the remaining 25%.
