Brian Rodríguez is having a tremendous season in which he transformed himself into one of the best players from LAFC. The Uruguayan attacker aged 20 took advantage from every single chance that head coach Bob Bradley gave him and played some incredible games with great performances.

After all, he is now pretended by some top European teams and with his value increasing, it won’t be crazy to think that he could be leaving soon. The chance of moving is well seen by Rodríguez, who is comfortable at LAFC but thinks that the presence of his companion Carlos Vela is overshadowing him.

The numbers prove that when Vela is on the field, the performance of Rodríguez goes down. When the Mexican was injured, Rodríguez played 21 games, scored three goals and gave six assists, while in his first season, when Vela was ok, he only just saw action during nine games.

With these stats in his hands, Rodríguez is seriously thinking on trying to accelerate his departure from LAFC and land as soon as possible on Europe. So far, he played 32 games for the MLS side, six more than those he played for Peñarol former club before he left. On Uruguay national team he already gained his very first chances and played eight matches scoring three goals as well.
