Carlos Vela is a player that almost every national team would like to have. His great conditions and his good form make everyone adore his style of playing. But the idol quit Mexico national team and, despite the insistence of the fans for him to go back, there is no way things could change.

As it was reported by international press recently, the reason why Vela has been axed by head coach Gerardo Martino is that he committed various undisciplined acts during his time at the national team, including party’s that made the squad lose focus just before important games.

Vela played for the last time with Mexico against Brazil, on July 2018 in Russia World Cup. After that, he decided that his time was ended and publicly said that he wanted to leave space for those young players coming after him, even though the real reason for his absence may be another one.

At LAFC, the attacker has found the perfect place in the world. He lives in a very nice city with his family and plays for a team in which fans adore him, and he achieves good results. He is also one of the best paid players at the MLS, earning more than $6 million, and the best paid Mexican in the whole world.
