The new nickname Cristian Pavon was named after his goal against Portland Timbers

Los Angeles Galaxy started to climb in the Western Conference standings and after three consecutive wins. Their poor start made Guillermo Barros Schelotto's spot stagger, but now it seems he has found the winning formula. Cristian Pavon is one of his principal ingredients.

Normally nicknamed Kichan, Pavon's future is still uncertain. He has a contract that ends in December and The Galaxy didn't show much interest in paying his $20M rescission clause. However, the Argentinean is determined to show why they brought him as a stellar soccer player. 

Lately, the former Boca Juniors midfielder has not only scored a bunch of screamers but also assist their teammates in order to achive them also. As a consequence, he gained a new nickname: "Killer Kichan". And T-shirts started to be sold with that catchy name.
