LAFC couldn’t complete a good season and once again was eliminated during the MLS Cup Playoffs. The team coached by Bob Bradley lost against Seattle Sounders on the first round of the Western Conference and couldn’t advance any longer on the local competition.

Carlos Vela was very upset after the game, in which he missed a penalty and gave an assist. Both Bradley and sport advisers from the MLS side are working to try to make some signings to finally achieve during the next campaign the final objective of gaining the title that they are wishing.

Knowing that some of their young talents, as Diego Rossi or Brian Rodríguez, may leave, the club needs to make some signings. During the last hours it was rumored that a player from the Liga MX could be moving to LAFC to share the attack with Vela, even though it wasn’t confirmed that the move will be happening.

The attacker is Rogelio Funes Mori, aged 29 and playing for Monterrey. After a season in which he played 18 games and scored six goals, his signing could be a good option for LAFC. He arrived Monterrey on July 2015 for $4 million and, after more than five year, he has a reported value of $7 million and a contract that expires on June 2024.
