Carlos Vela had an incredible professional career in which he played for top teams in Europe and represented Mexico national team with great performances. But there are some who think that the attacker could have done even better but some things stopped him from an absolute legend of soccer.

Cesc Fàbregas is a friend of Vela. They played together at Asenal, where the Spanish midfielder arrived at 2003 until 2006 and the Mexican from 2006 to 2012, even though he was loaned many times. All in all, they are good partners on the field, and they know each other a lot out of it.

Fàbregas talked about Vela’s incredible capacity and said that the Mexican is a phenomenon and that if he couldn't get any further it was because he didn’t want to. The Spanish assured that Vela is one of the best players that he saw and that he always told him that he could have done even better if he wanted to.

It is known that Vela is not a passionate about soccer. He said many times that he likes it but once the games are over, he prefers not to talk about them anymore. Vela was formed at Chivas and had a large career playing for Arsenal, Celta de Vigo, UD Salamanca, CA Osasuna, West Bromwich, Real Sociedad and LAFC, where he arrived on January 2018.
