As almost every time that Mexico national team plays, the name of Carlos Vela appears once again. The attacker from LAFC has retired, but fans keep asking him. Mexico defeated 3-2 South-Korea on a friendly of the international break of November and social media claimed once again for Vela.

During the game, some attackers showed their great talent, such as Raúl Jiménez, but it seems not to be enough for the fans who are asking once again for Vela. Head coach Gerardo Martino said that the chance of him coming back depended on his posture and that the decision exceeds him.

But after the break, Tata is thinking on talking once again with Vela and asking him to come back. The coach thinks that he will really make the difference and that Mexico needs a player of his conditions. After all, the player will be the one deciding but Martino wants to make a last try.

Vela quit the national team after 72 games played and 19 goals scored, on July 2018. His last game was on the elimination of round of 16 Russia World Cup against Brazil. That happened 11 years after his official debut, that also was against Brazil. The chances of him going back are few, but Martino wants to try.
