Javier Hernández has always been linked to different celebrities from many different ends of the world. He is married to an Australian model like Sarah Kohan, but he used to be a close friend of NFL’s icon Tom Brady.

The Mexican striker, who is now playing in Los Angeles Galaxy, had to undergo a difficult moment in 2017. At the beginning of that year, Tom Brady won one of his six Superbowls leading New England Patriots.

On that season the Patriots beat Atlanta Falcons 34-28 in Texas, winning the Superbowl LI. For that match, the New England side’s and the Mexican soccer star had held a very extravagant bet. Given the Patriots’ victory, Chicharito lost.

The result was that now-32-year-old Hernández, then 28, had to shave off his head completely. Of course, he showed the outcome in his social media. Still, he praised Tom Brady and mentioned him as an NFL legend. “Here I am, following my words and paying my bet. I trusted the Falcons but you’re one of the best ones ever”, he said to Brady in a video.
