Gonzalo Higuaín finally showed the MLS what he is made from. After a complicated debut and some games without being at his best level, the Argentinian striker scored a free kick golazo to give Inter Miami a victory just '10 minutes before the end against New York RB.

It was just a mater of time for Higuaín to score his first goal, after his probe striker capacity in Europe, where he scored for Real Madrid (121), Juventus (66), Napoli (91), Milan (8) and Chelsea (5). The surprise was that he converted from a free kick, the first time he does so after 428 matches in Europe's top five leagues.

After the game Higuaín confessed that he didn't felt relieved for the goal, as he assured that his job at Inter Miami was to score goals and that is why the club contracted him. He also said that he was happy to help the team to get a win, which breaks a streak of three games loosed in a row.
