In one of his first interviews as a RB Salzburg player, Brenden Aaronson confessed that he has been a life-long Liverpool fan, as much as his father. The Philadelphia Union's offensive midfielder has many reasons to believe that he could end up under Jürgen Klopp's orders in Merseyside.

It happens that RB Salzburg has long be a youth development center that Liverpool has followed closely. Both Guinean Naby Keita and Japanese Takumi Minamino were brought from the Austrian Bundesliga's champion. Also, Sadio Mané started his professional career thre before been signed by Southampton.

It's also positive for Brenden Aaronson that Liverpool's head coach, Jürgen Klopp, is a German that has always been keen on the Austrian Bundesliga. First as Mainz 05 coach, the as Borussia Dortmund's coach, and now in Liverpool, he has always trusted in the talent formed in RB Salzburg. If Aaronson is able to earn Jesse Marsch's confidence -another North American who already knows him- he will have chances to show himself.

Although "the US Kai Havertz" won't arrive at Salzburg until 2021, which means that it's possible that by then the Austrian side is already out of the UEFA Champions League, Brenden Aaronson is just 19 years old and has planty of time to develop himself. For instance, Klopp asked for Minamino even though the Japanese midfielder was already 24. Aaronson has still some time to try to follow his dream and honored his father.
