Tigres UANL has made history in the FIFA Club World Cup qualifying to the final game, being the first Mexican team in the history of the competition doing so. The Liga MX side defeated first Ulsan Hyundai and then Palmeiras and now will have the last game against Bayern Munich.
The French striker André-Pierre Gignac played a key role in both games, as he scored the three goals in the international tournament for his team. So far, he is the top-scorer of the competition as well, being followed by Roberto Lewandowski, the Polish striker who wants to ruin his illusion.
Lewandowski scored both goals of the German side against Al-Ahly, leaving a clear message to Gignac after his top performance in the games of Tigres. The final match will be played on February 11 in the Qatar Foundation stadium and will define who is the great champion of the world.
The duel between Gignac and Lewandowski will be a very impressive one. Both attackers had incredible previous games and were very important for their teams arriving to this stage of the tournament. Despite the importance of the game between Tigres and Bayern, they will also have a personal one to one.
