Alan Pulido is right now one of the best Mexican players in the Major League Soccer, his stats at Sporting Kansas City are leading the team to the Playoffs, and maybe, to the top of the Western Conference table. He has become the key player for the coach and all his teammates really appreciate him.

However, he seems to have a problem with the fans from Mexico, the ones that support the national team. In the last press conference he said that he did not feel valued by the fans. Where did that come from? Is this non-appreciation a reason to leave him out of the international squad?

The main problem came after when he told the press that the motive why he was not valued is because he played in the MLS, a less important league for the Mexicans apparently. He is doing great thins at the USA but he is not getting the recognition that a Liga MX or probably a player in a Europe league would get.

This is really dangerous for the player because these statements could begin a crack between the Mexican fans and him. That could leave him out of Gerardo Martino’s team and also could make more difficult for him a future return to play at the Liga MX.
