New York Red Bulls will have their first game in the comeback of MLS season 2020 against their rival New York City Football Club; therefore, their goal is to have a team strong enough to beat their rival. This is how Red Bulls decided to hire within a sister club.

The new player for the New York Red Bulls is Samuel Tetteh, who has a contract with Red Bull Salzburg, the sister club of the New York team by its owner, Red Bull GmbH. The Ghanaian forward will come to reinforce MLS after having a contract with Red Bull Salzburg but having played three seasons at LASK Linz.

This means that it will be the first experience outside of Austria, where he will seek to contribute all his expertise and quality gained in Europe within the New York Red Bulls. The New York team prepares everything for their confrontation against New York City Football Club.
